Cameron is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Stony Brook University and the Director of the clic lab. He got his PhD in Cognitive Science from UCSD in 2024. He's interested in how people and AI systems differ, and how they interact.

Ruoxuan has an M.S. in Data Science from Columbia University and a B.S. in Cognitive Science from UCSD. She studies how people and AI systems communicate and interact. She is interested in building evaluations of these interactions and designing personalized AI systems that support people with different cognitive profiles.

Yifan is a Research Assistant in the clic lab. He has an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University. He is interested in AI and psychology, and is currently researching the faithfulness of AI explanations.

Elif is a senior in the Honors College, double majoring in psychology and biology. She is interested in the intersection of AI and psychology, and plans to pursue a career in pediatrics.

Helena is a senior at Stony Brook University studying Psychology with a minor in Computer Science. She is interested in behavioral research, Human-Computer Interaction, and how people come to trust or distrust AI systems.

Jordan is an undergraduate Psychology student at Stony Brook University. He's interested in cognitive neuroscience, psychometrics, epistemology, and philosophy of mind, with particular interests in metacognition and human interaction with AI systems.

Tasnim is a Research Assistant in the clic lab. She is currently pursuing a B.S. in Psychology and plans to pursue a career in psychiatry. Her research interests focus on the psychological impacts of repeated interaction with AI and how these dynamics reshape human epistemology.

John Stallings

M.A. Student, 2025-2026

John was an M.A. student in the Psychology Department at Stony Brook University. He has more than 10 years of experience as a consultant at EY and McKinsey. He's interested in AI and mental health, and investigated the phenomenon of 'AI psychosis'.
